Construction Superintendent in Sacramento

Job Overview Hilbers Inc. is a Northern California general contractor seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with a minimum of 5 years supervising commercial projects. The role will cover a variety of project types including retail, restaurant, health club, office, medical, educational, church, hospitality, multifamily, fueling centers, industrial, public works and more. Responsibilities Construction Superintendents will lead the construction team and ensure they have all necessary resources. They will work closely with the Project Manager, Project Engineer, Project Executive, Safety Coordinator and General Superintendent. Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials, and other project costs Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, and other construction management to determine budget and timeline Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers Create and maintain schedules for workers and subcontractors 3‑week look ahead and master schedules Maintain a daily log for the job site’s operations, reporting to management as necessary Manage Jobsite safety Responsible for overall QC implementation on projects including review and verification of project material and design submittals Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines Implement management techniques that are cost‑effective and efficient Effectively and successfully manage the overall operations of individual projects of value range between $100k‑$30M They will also establish partnerships with owners, contractors, architects, AHJs and subcontractors to resolve issues throughout the construction process. Qualifications Minimum 5 years supervising commercial construction projects; strong safety and quality control focus; ability to manage diverse teams and coordinate multiple projects ranging from $100k to $30M.
