Employment Associate – Los Angeles, CA
Direct Counsel represents a leading AmLaw 100 firm seeking an experienced Employment Associate to join its Los Angeles practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong employment counseling and litigation experience to handle sophisticated matters within a collaborative, nationally recognized platform.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have 5–6 years of employment law experience , with exposure to complex litigation and counseling matters. Experience with restrictive covenants and trade secret disputes is especially valuable.
Key Responsibilities- Handle employment counseling and litigation matters.
- Advise clients on a broad range of employment issues.
- Handle non-compete and trade secret litigation .
- Support class action litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Work closely with clients, partners, and legal teams on sophisticated matters.
- 5–6 years of employment advice and litigation experience .
- Experience with non- compete/restrictive covenant and trade secret litigation preferred .
- Class action experience is a plus.
- Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills .
- Strong academic background.
- Active California Bar admission required.
