Recognizing that ENT is a highly specialized and competitive field, the clinical leadership is prepared to offer maximum scheduling flexibility, including commuter-friendly and block-rotation structures, alongside an elite, top-tier compensation framework. Step into an established service area with massive waiting lists, an expansive referral network, and the full surgical infrastructure needed to build a premier practice.Responsibilities:Provide high-quality clinical and surgical ENT interventions across a broad, high-demand general otolaryngology practice scope (including general ENT, rhinology, laryngology, otology, and pediatric ENT).Utilize state-of-the-art surgical suites across multiple sites, performing cases at the main Mattoon operating rooms and outpatient surgery center, with options to support expansion and outpatient cases at an additional facility in Effingham.Design and establish your ideal practice schedule; leadership is highly accommodating and prepared to support non-traditional blocks (such as 7-on/7-off or every-other-week rotations) for regional or out-of-state commuting physicians.Collaborate fluidly with an extensive internal primary care and pediatric referral network to handle high-volume, immediate patient backlogs.Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and timely electronic medical records for all clinical encounters, surgical documentation, and patient follow-up care.Qualifications:Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institutionSuccessful completion of an accredited Otolaryngology Residency programBoard Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in OtolaryngologyActive, unrestricted Illinois state medical license (or immediate eligibility to obtain)Valid DEA registrationExcellent clinical judgment, surgical skill, and a collaborative mindset optimized to thrive within an expanding regional surgical programBenefits:Immediate upside earning potential through production bonuses paid on all RVU output exceeding the base guaranteeAccelerated $100,000 sign-on incentive that is completely forgiven after just one (1) year of serviceEligible for an annual quality incentive up to 10% of your base salary (capped at $50,000) upon meeting baseline metrics once your practice is fully establishedCompetitive, standard long-term retention bonus structures33 days of annual paid time off plus 5 dedicated CME days$6,000 annual CME allowance, with all professional state license fees and renewals completely coveredUp to $15,000 in relocation assistance providedFully paid medical malpractice insurance coverage, including complete tail coverage at no cost to youHigh-end health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance policiesExtremely competitive retirement plan with robust employer-funded contributionsNote on Compensation: The listed compensation range is not a guarantee.
