Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to develop and implement customized treatment plans based on individual diagnoses and rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercises, and modalities, to improve patients' mobility and manage pain effectively.
• Provide comprehensive education to patients and their families about exercise routines, wellness strategies, and strategies for postoperative recovery.
• Regularly document patient progress, adjusting treatment interventions as necessary to ensure continuous improvement and optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to maintain a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Ensure all practices comply with regulatory standards and maintain a clean, safe, and ethical treatment setting.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, chronic pain conditions, and musculoskeletal injuries. Tailoring treatment plans specific to the needs of individuals recovering from joint replacements, fractures, sports injuries, and other orthopedic conditions is essential. An empathetic, patient-centered approach to care is vital in maximizing recovery and enhancing each patient's quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy.
• An active state Physical Therapist license is essential for practice.
• A minimum of three years of experience specifically in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in designing and modifying rehabilitation plans tailored to orthopedic conditions.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
