The Vascular Ultrasound Technologist will perform high-quality vascular sonography studies, including venous and arterial examinations, following established protocols and safety standards. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, operating ultrasound equipment, capturing and documenting diagnostic images, and ensuring accurate, timely reporting for interpreting clinicians. The role involves working closely with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate patient flow, explain procedures, and support treatment planning. The technologist will also help maintain equipment, adhere to regulatory and infection control guidelines, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and patient-centered care. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in vascular ultrasound, including venous and arterial imaging, with strong technical and diagnostic skills. Ability to follow clinical protocols, document findings accurately, and collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams. Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear explanations and maintain a calm, supportive environment. Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to manage multiple patients and maintain workflow in a busy clinical setting. Completion of an accredited ultrasound or vascular technology program; RVT, RVS, or equivalent certification preferred. Current compliance with relevant state and national regulations; BLS certification preferred. Experience in vein care, vascular surgery, or interventional radiology settings is a plus.
