Dental Scheduling Coordinator

Job Description Job Description TheSchedulingCoordinatoristhefriendlyvoiceandfirstpointofcontactforourfamilies.You’llownappointmentscheduling,booking,confirming,andmanagingvisitstokeepourdaysfullandrunningsmoothlyandourprovider'stimewellused.Thisroleisperfectforsomeonewhohaspreviousdentalschedulingexperience,isorganized,personable,anddependable,andwhothrivesoncreatingagreatexperiencefromtheveryfirstphonecall. Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly Responsibilities: Scheduling&CalendarManagement Schedule,confirm,reschedule,andcancelpatientappointments. Managethedailyandweeklyscheduletominimizegaps,maximizeprovidertime,andkeepwaittimeslow. Maintainandworkarecall/re-carelistsopatientsreturnforroutinecheck-upsandtreatment. Filllast-minuteopeningsfromacancellation/ASAPlisttokeeptheschedulefull. PatientCommunication Answerincomingcallswarmlyandprofessionally;respondtovoicemails,texts,andemailspromptly. Sendandmanageappointmentremindersandconfirmations. Greetfamilies,answerschedulingquestions,andsetclearexpectationsforeachvisit. Helpnewpatientsgetstarted,gatheringinformationandguidingthemthroughfirst-visitsteps. FrontOfficeSupport Verifyandupdatepatientdemographicandinsuranceinformationatscheduling. Coordinatewithclinicalandtreatment-coordinationstafftoensureappointmentsaresequencedcorrectly. Keepaccuraterecordsinthepracticemanagementsoftwareandprotectpatientprivacy(HIPAA). Qualifications: Required 1–3yearsofdentalfrontdesk,scheduling,orcustomerserviceexperience. Warm,patient-friendlycommunicationstyle,comfortableandkindwithchildrenandparents. Strongorganizationandattentiontodetail;abletojuggleabusyphoneandcalendar. Comfortablewithcomputers,schedulingsoftware,andgeneralofficetechnology. Reliable,punctual,andateamplayer. Preferred Experienceinapediatricordentalpractice. FamiliaritywithEaglesoftdentalpracticemanagementsoftware. Basicunderstandingofdentalinsuranceandverification. Bilingual(English/Spanish)aplus.
