Back Office Medical Assistant

We are a multi specialty medical practice looking for a friendly, reliable, and resourceful individual to join our back office team! In our back office, your role would be to provide high quality patient care while performing a variety of tasks that include but are not limited to; set-up and assistance in office procedures, taking vital signs, patient intake, heavy scribing, inventory, cleaning/processing instruments, and stocking rooms. The ideal individual for this position will possess a strong attention to detail, as well as time management and communication skills. Experience in the medical field, specifically in dermatology and EMR experience is required. This is a full time position, Monday through Friday from 8:20AM-5:20PM, with medical benefits after 60 days for full time employees.

Example Job Duties:

• Must be able to demonstrate full competency in sterile set ups and assisting in surgery using this technique.
• Assisting with biopsies in office
• Specimen handling
• Assisting providers in reading pathology reports
• Experience working with providers in Mohs Surgery

Experience:

• This position is ideal for a recent graduate pursuing a pre-med or pre-PA track.
• 3.8 GPA

Location:

• Multiple locations (Newport Beach and Yorba Linda)
