Maintenance Technician (Entry-Level / Industrial Maintenance) Pay Rate: $24.00/hr - $28.00/hr Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Location: Belton, MO

Shift & Hours

• First 6+ Months: Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Friday: (Overtime)

What You’ll Do

• Preventative Maintenance: Perform weekly PMs on cut saws, band saws, presses, forklifts, and other facility equipment.

• Equipment Care: Inspect machinery, check blades and coolants, apply belt dressings, and keep equipment running at peak performance.

• Press Operations: Assist senior techs with punch press setups and changeovers. 

• Troubleshooting: Learn to diagnose basic mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues alongside experienced mentors.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 2- 3+ years of background in maintenance, machine operatation, HVAC, mechanical repair, or general industrial upkeep.

• Electrical Basics: Solid understanding of 110V/120V fundamentals (experience with 208V/277V/480V or control troubleshooting is preferred).

• Environment Readiness: Comfortable working in a true non-climate-controlled manufacturing plant. 

• Work Ethic: Safety-first mindset, calm under pressure, reliable attendance, and a drive to learn.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance (PM): Perform weekly PMs on cut saws, band saws, presses, air compressors and related facility equipment. Check blades/coolant, clean underneath saws, apply belt dressings, and conduct thorough visual inspections.
• Press Operations: Assist with press changeovers (punch presses, etc.).
• Troubleshooting: Learn to diagnose basic mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues under standard operating procedures.
