Duties
You will integrate the work assigned to the Alteration Installation Teams (AIT), Ship's Force and other activities for execution during a specific Refit or Extended Refit Period (ERP).
You will develop and use detailed work sequencing schedules, identifying risks to cost, schedule or quality and coordinating development of administrative controls to minimize identified risks.
You will ensure AITs and other Outside activities working shipboard during Refits and ERPs comply with standard work practices and Memorandums of Agreements (MOA), personal safety, ship safety and hazardous material handling requirements.
You will monitor AIT and contractor work in execution to ensure compliance with approved alteration instruction and applicable installation standards and published schedules.
You will ensure deviations from the required instructions or standards are resolved and documented appropriately with Liaison Action Request or Departures from Specification when required.
You will conduct ongoing risk assessments and make recommendations for risk mitigations to project team supervision or designated representative appraised of current maintenance work status.
You will assist the project team with the development and maintenance of work sequencing schedules and other products for managing schedules.
