Senior Marketing Manager - Personal Wealth Products and Solutions

Vanguard's Personal Wealth Marketing team is looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to shape how investors understand, choose, and engage with solutions that can help them achieve financial goals. In this role, you will own the marketing strategy for a priority Personal Wealth offering, such as Cash or UHNW solutions, translating client needs, market trends, competitive insights, and business objectives into growth strategies, and go-to-market plans. Working across the client journey, you will identify opportunities to attract new investors, deepen relationships, increase adoption, and deliver cohesive client experiences. You will serve as a strategic marketing partner to business and product leaders while guiding cross-functional teams from planning through execution and optimization. Success requires the ability to simplify complex challenges, turn insights into action, and deliver measurable business results. Core Responsibilities Lead development of marketing strategy and roadmap for priority Personal Wealth offerings to achieve business growth objectives.Connect investor needs with products by developing compelling value propositions and differentiated positioning.Translate client, market, competitive, and performance insights into clear priorities and actionable recommendations.Collaborate with audience and product teams to bring integrated marketing programs to life, building alignment around the strategy and a cohesive client experience.Guide cross-functional teams by building business acumen, product knowledge, and alignment around the marketing strategy.Build strong partnerships across marketing, business, sales, technology, analytics, legal, risk, and compliance to prioritize and deliver results.Establish performance goals and use measurement, testing, forecasting, and reporting to evaluate and optimize marketing effectiveness.Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, investor behavior, and evolving client expectations to identify growth opportunities.Ensure marketing plans and activities meet applicable legal, compliance, risk, audit, and control requirements.What It Takes Minimum eight years demonstrated experience in direct-to-consumer marketing strategy or product marketing.Undergraduate degree in Marketing or equivalent experience required.While this role does not have direct reports, qualified candidates must have proven success in leading and influencing a cross-functional team.Strong marketing knowledge and a passion for delivering client and business outcomes An entrepreneurial spirit, with sound judgement and strong sense of ownershipStrong data-driven marketing acumen supported by strategic, analytical, and conceptual thinkingEffective written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholdersA collaborative approach to aligning stakeholders and achieving outcomesAbility to navigate a fast-paced, high visibility, matrixed environment with competing prioritiesNice to HaveExperience in financial services, familiarity with cash, banking, advisory, or wealth-management solutions.Knowledge of audience segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing.Experience using experimentation, marketing analytics, and performance measurement to optimize results.Familiarity with legal, risk, and compliance review processes in a regulated environment.Special FactorsSponsorshipVanguard is not offering visa sponsorship for this position.About VanguardAt Vanguard, we don't just have a mission—we're on a mission.To work for the long-term financial wellbeing of our clients.
