Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a difference in the lives of students by providing expert Speech-Language Pathology services in a supportive elementary school environment. This contract opportunity will allow you to utilize your SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials in the school setting, collaborating with educators and families to help students achieve meaningful progress. The assignment runs from August 11, 2026, to September 24, 2026, with a weekly full-time schedule of 37.5 hours.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY certification
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of speech and language disorders in children
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting speech-language assessments and evaluations
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans
- Providing direct therapy to students as determined by evaluation
- Consulting with teachers, parents, and other school staff
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of assessments and progress
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student support teams
- Adjusting intervention approaches based on student response and feedback
