Role Overview The Program Material Manager (PMM) provides the strategic interface between the Program Team and the Supply Chain Management Central Procurement Team and is responsible for coordinating the organization's performance in support of the Program's requirements. Daily Challenges / Responsibilities Develop forecasts for future requirements. Engage with program teams early in the life cycle to influence optimal acquisition strategy. Issue resolution, monitoring and management of internal organizational performance, and performance reporting to functional and program management. Monitor supplier performance, expedite supplier deliveries when required, and carry out other strategic engagement activities. Additional tasks may be assigned as required by programs and management. Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education. 5+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management (eg Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, Category Management). Desired Skills Knowledge of LM Space Systems Programs. Demonstrated proactive and strategic approach to project management with a track record of success. Supplier management experience. Exposure to a category management environment. Effective relationship‑building skills with peers, leadership and suppliers. Positive and enthusiastic attitude toward teamwork and collaboration. Exceptional strategic communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, stakeholders and program executives. Location & Work Arrangement This position requires onsite work at Lockheed Martin Space facilities in Denver, CO; King of Prussia/Valley Forge, PA; or Huntsville/Courtland, AL. Teleworking is not supported. Benefits Annual base salary range: $69,900 - $123,280 (varies by state).
