Business Operations Senior Manager - Seller Experience Process Optimization (Lean Six Sigma / BPMN)

The Process Effectiveness, Alignment & Readiness (PAR) team within DISW GSCS GTM&SO enables Global Sales to work better, smarter, and ready for what’s next by driving Process Effectiveness, cross‑functional Alignment, and organizational Readiness. PAR owns elements of the operating model and governance that underpin our Roles to SaaS (R2X) transformation, partnering with Sales, Sales Ops, L&D, Product/IT, and Field leadership to implement improvements at scale.

Job Profile/Position Overview:

We are seeking a hands‑on and strategic Process Engineer (Senior Individual Contributor) to own the R2X Level 2/3 BPMN catalog, define and maintain process measures/metrics/KPIs, and document systems, tools, and business objects/deliverables across the SVS‑PEF sales process. This is a business process engineering role for sales processes (not software delivery). Success means our sellers, managers, and operations teams can see, measure, and continuously improve how work flows across R2X—from Land through Adopt, Expand, and Renew.

Responsibilities/Tasks

· BPMN Modeling (hands‑on): Build and maintain Level 2/3 BPMN models for all R2X processes (as‑is/to‑be), including interfaces, swimlanes, roles, inputs/outputs, and controls.

· Measurement Architecture: Define measures, metrics, and KPIs per process (lag/lead), measurement logic, thresholds, and control plans; align with dashboards and business reviews.

· Systems & Data Mapping: Document Salesforce object dependencies, field lineage, integration points, and data quality requirements for each process step; map where evidence “lives.”

· Standards & Governance: Create and enforce modeling standards, naming conventions, artifact templates, and change governance (versioning, RACI, decision logs).

· Continuous Improvement (SVS‑PEF): Run structured improvement cycles (problem statement → current state → root causes → countermeasures → pilot → scale); track benefits (time, quality, conversion, ARR impact).

· Cross‑Functional Alignment: Partner with Sales Ops, L&D, Data/AI, Tools/IT, and Zone leadership to harmonize ways of working and embed changes in enablement and operating rhythm.

· Communication & Enablement: Produce clear visuals and one‑pagers; contribute to trainings, workshops, and council updates to drive understanding and adoption.

Top Outcomes (First 6–12 Months)

1. Complete the R2X BPMN Catalog (L2/L3) across SVS‑PEF, including interfaces and handoffs.

2. Define & Operationalize Measurement: for each process, document measures, metrics, KPIs, and control points; tie to data sources with ownership and visibility.

3. Systems/Tools & Business Objects Mapping: create end‑to‑end systems/tooling maps and business objects/deliverables for every step, with definitions and quality criteria.

4. Governance & Adoption: establish versioning, change control, and contribution model; partner with councils and enablement to drive field adoption.

Business Process Engineering & Design in PAR

General:

· Clearly understand process levels (L1 to L4) and correct representation.

· Understand process interdependencies, interactions, inputs, and outputs to make considered improvements based predominantly on L2/L3 processes.

· Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify, analyze, and document current and future Level 2/3 processes applying BPMN techniques and standards.

· Maintain L2/L3 processes up‑to‑date when changes and variances are introduced/identified.

Governance & Standards:

· Ensure compliance with PAR process engineering standards, best practices, and compliance requirements during process design and improvement.

· Maintain and promote standardized process definitions, terminology, and modeling conventions across the organization.

Process Analysis & Continuous Improvement:

· Lead functional and end‑to‑end process walkthroughs with stakeholders to define inputs, outputs, KPIs, and control points.

· Utilize Lean/Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC) to define, measure, analyze, improve, and control key business processes.

· Conduct process assessments to identify pain points, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization.

Change Management:

· Address resistance to change and ensure successful adoption of new processes.

· Influence without authority across zones and functions.

Minimum Requirements: 

· Proven experience in business process engineering for Sales/SaaS GTM or adjacent functions, with a track record of BPMN L2/L3 modeling and end‑to‑end documentation.

· Salesforce literacy (non‑config): able to read object models, relationships, and data flows; understand how processes surface in Salesforce (records, fields, statuses, automation triggers).

· Metrics & Control: ability to define measures/KPIs and control plans tied to data sources and dashboards (e.g., Power BI) in partnership with analytics teams.

· AI‑enabled productivity: comfort using Copilot/AI tools to accelerate modeling, documentation, analysis, and communications.

· Strong facilitation and communication skills; able to collaborate across sales, presales, customer success, partner teams, operations, and IT/tools.

· Working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement toolkits (DMAIC, root cause analysis, control charts).

*Strongly prefer experience working within the DISW business unit. Must currently be located in the continental USA. 

Required Technical Skills:

- Salesforce (objects, data model understanding)

- BPMN (SolutionLink/Signavio/Visio or equivalent)

- Tableau/Power BI (consumption/definition with BI partners)

- Copilot/AI tools for productivity

Preferred Technical Skills:

- Light scripting (Python) for ad‑hoc analysis/automation

- Familiarity with LAER/CSM workflows and renewal/adoption processes
