Shift: Day - 8x5 - 09AM

- Setting: Hospital Call (Saturday and Sunday) plus Office/Clinic support
- Patient Volume: Average of 8 procedures per weekend (GSI, Hepatology, RGA, Surgery, Colon, EGD, ERCP)
- Schedule: 24-Hour Call (7:00 AM 7:00 AM)
- Clinical Areas: Adult, Hospital, and Office/Clinic
- Technology: Epic EMR; Lab and X-ray available on-site
- Support: No trauma designation at this facility
- Privileges: Emergency/Temporary privileges available for providers with a clean malpractice history
- Perform advanced procedures including ERCP (Certification required), EUS, and Upper/Lower GI Endoscopies
- Manage specialized cases: Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry, Small Bowel Biopsy, Liver Biopsy, and Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube management
- Provide high-quality inpatient consults and emergency coverage during weekend shifts
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic clinical setting
- Utilize Epic EMR for all patient charting and documentation
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology (Required)
- Active Virginia State License (Required)
- ERCP Certification (Must be able to perform and confirm at time of submission)
- Current Flu shot (Required) and COVID Vaccine (Highly Preferred)
- NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days of presentation
- Availability to cover open weekend shifts specifically starting 3/
