We're recruiting for a hospital-employed Hospitalist group in the scenic South Metro, VA area. • Exceptional compensation for 15 shifts per month – your wallet will thank you.
• Quarterly service bonuses – up to $25K annually (hello, vacation fund!).
• Optional additional shifts at $1,400 for 24 hours – for when you're feeling extra ambitious.
• Work hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. – your nights are covered by a Nurse Practitioner.
• ICU admissions handled collaboratively with the ED physician – teamwork makes the dream work!
• Nighttime call coverage: You'll be within 20 minutes of the hospital for emergencies (but hopefully, the NP has it all under control).
• Airway management required – you're the hero when it comes to intubations and thoracentesis.
• Average census: 12 patients – manageable and meaningful.
• Specialty consults available – because everyone needs backup sometimes.
