Job Requirements

• Active Virginia Physician Assistant license required
• Board certification required
• Active ACLS and BLS required
• Active DEA required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in inpatient, surgical, or hospital-based advanced practice care preferred
• Experience supporting neurosurgery or similar specialty care strongly preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and advanced practice providers
• Clean background with no malpractice or license issues required

Responsibilities

• Provide post-procedural daily care for neurosurgery patients
• Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding care plans and recovery
• Collaborate closely with the neurosurgery team and other inpatient providers
• Support ongoing evaluation and management of adult and geriatric inpatients
• Document patient care thoroughly in EPIC
• Contribute to a coordinated, efficient hospital workflow
