Hatfield Group Engineering is a structural, facade, and MEP/FP engineering studio with offices in New York and Chicago. We believe good design enriches people and places, and we work with architects to protect their designs and make them buildable. They founded HGE to work differently, as a nimble, principal-led studio where every project gets senior attention and every solution is shaped around the building at hand.HGE is a certified Women Business Enterprise (WBE).The RoleWe're at an exciting point in our growth, and we're building our marketing function from the ground up. Your work will directly shape how clients and the industry see HGE. You'll work closely with the Marketing Director and principals to produce proposals, build new marketing systems, and share our work with the world. You'll be part of a small team where your work is visible and your ideas are heard, and you'll learn every side of AEC marketing, from proposals to brand positioning to business development. Your responsibilities would include:Manage proposals, qualifications packages, and presentations from kickoff through submission, working with principals and technical staff to meet deadlinesWrite, edit, and proofread content, and shape it into clear, persuasive narratives with supporting graphicsMonitor client and agency websites for new solicitations, and research market trends, competitors, and upcoming projects to bring insights into our pursuit strategyMaintain accurate project and personnel data in our database, and use it to develop, update, and format resumes, project sheets, and other collateral in line with our brandSupport other marketing initiatives, such as our newsletter, award submissions, conference registrations, website updates, and LinkedIn content xhyhwjd QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field1 to 2 years of marketing experience, ideally at an architecture, engineering, or construction firmStrong writing, editing, and proofreading skillsProficiency in Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesignA good eye for design and layout, with attention to brand consistencyOrganized and dependable, with the ability to manage several deadlines at onceCurious about new tools and trends, including AI, and how they can make marketing work betterSalary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 annually
