In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, and promoting a positive patient experience within our dispensary.Job Responsibilities:Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while verifying physician orders and patient information.Provide counseling to patients on medication usage, side effects, and drug interactions, ensuring they understand their treatment plans.Conduct medication therapy management and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies related to pharmacy practice.Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining records of controlled substances.Participate in patient education programs and community outreach initiatives to promote health and wellness.Stay current on industry trends, new medications, and best practices in pharmaceutical care.Train and mentor pharmacy staff and interns as needed.Qualifications:Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.Valid pharmacist license in [insert state].Previous experience in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting preferred.Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication management, and patient care practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a team and provide exceptional customer service.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for long periods of time.Able to lift up to 25 pounds.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentAble to navigate small spaces and reach items on high shelves.Visual acuity to identify product details and assist customers with selection.Able to handle and operate equipment such as cash registers and scales.Comfortable working with various cannabis products and handling related tools and equipment.Must be able and willing to travel between retail dispensary locations as business needs require.We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive work environment and welcome applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
