Description - What Your Role Entails

• Conduct routine and complex laboratory tests-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-strictly adhering to standard protocols.
• Evaluate test outcomes for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure lab equipment undergoes regular maintenance and calibration.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and the preparation of samples for analysis as required.
• Document all lab processes accurately, mentor new hires or interns, and help uphold laboratory quality assurance standards.
• Ensure a tidy, safe workspace and comply with all regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education Required

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health qualification with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
