Description - What You'll Engage In

• Conduct a variety of standard and specialized clinical laboratory examinations-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test outcomes with an eagle eye for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen acquisition and prepare samples for analysis whenever required.
• Meticulously document all processes, guide newer staff or students, and ensure laboratory quality measures are consistently upheld.
• Maintain an orderly, safe workspace and adhere strictly to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be achieved within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification throughout your tenure.
