HVAC Installer (Residential & Light Commercial)

DeLand, FL

Pay Range - $21-30 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Occasional evenings, weekends, and overtime may be required)

Key Responsibilities: Perform professional installations of residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including changeouts. Deliver an outstanding customer experience from the first interaction through project completion while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Florida driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on HVAC installation experience (changeouts strongly preferred)
• Solid knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC equipment
• Experience with line sets, brazing, pressure testing, and system start-up
• Working knowledge of low voltage wiring, relays, transformers, and wiring diagrams
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical instructions
• Skilled in ductwork installation, insulation, and sealing
• Thorough understanding of current local building codes
• Current EPA 608 Certification
• Own set of basic hand tools and commitment to safety protocols
• Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of HVAC installation experience
• NATE Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively with a team
• Positive attitude and commitment to continued learning
