Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician (Entry Level)

Job Description

This entry-level Facilities Maintenance Technician role supports the upkeep, safety, and efficient operation of a modern manufacturing facility. You will follow a structured daily maintenance schedule, assist with preventative maintenance activities, and help keep building systems, equipment, and workspaces in good working order. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who wants to build hands-on experience in facilities, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC support.

Essential Skills

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical-based devices.
• Experience or strong interest in building or facility maintenance.
• Ability to assist with troubleshooting of mechanical systems and machinery.
• Basic understanding of 110V and 220V electrical systems.
• Comfort working around plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems in a support capacity.
• Ability to follow preventative maintenance schedules and documented procedures.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to operate company vehicles for supply runs and site support.
• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate a tow motor for unloading and distributing gas deliveries.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Windows, particularly Outlook or similar email tools, to manage communication and tasks.
• Ability to use a web-based tasking application to receive and complete maintenance assignments.
• Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying supplies, and working on feet throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines and instructions.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lancaster, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Lancaster,PA.
