Johnson & Sons, a trusted manufacturer of automated bagging systems since 1929, is seeking a Mechanical Installer to join our team. This role involves traveling to customer sites to install, test, and train users on our equipment, as well as assisting with mechanical assembly both on-site and in our shop. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality installations and maintenance services in support of diverse industries including pet food, agriculture, industrial, and food processing sectors. Responsibilities Install automated bagging systems at customer locations Provide comprehensive customer training on equipment operation Travel moderately (25-50%) to various customer sites Assemble mechanical components in shop and field environments Perform thorough system testing and troubleshooting Conduct routine equipment maintenance and repairs Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all installations Document installation processes and service reports Utilize electrical knowledge to support installation and troubleshooting Collaborate with mechanical assembly, sales, customer support, field service, and engineering teams Qualifications Entry-level experience in mechanical installation and assembly Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Effective customer training and communication abilities Willingness and flexibility to travel as required Awareness of and commitment to workplace safety Manual dexterity and hands‑on aptitude Team‑oriented mindset with collaborative skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Energy Jobline ZR
