Position Overview

We are in search of a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to join our expanding team of imaging experts dedicated to delivering exceptional care. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during examinations, clearly explaining each step with kindness and empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and properly maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient records within the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Demonstrated technical expertise in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
