About This Role The Registered Nurse at Northwell Health is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in collaboration and possess strong clinical judgment. Highlights Location: Glen Cove, NY Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You’ll Do Conduct patient interviews and assess health status across multiple systems. Determine coping mechanisms and identify cultural/ethnic requirements. Develop individualized patient goals and document the plan of care. Reassess patients and revise care plans as needed. Administer prescribed treatments and maintain accurate documentation. Provide emotional support to patients and their families. Educate patients and significant others on drug interactions and care. Collaborate with care team members on treatment regimens. Participate in discharge planning and coordinate referrals. Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Experience Must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two (2) years and obtain a BSN Degree within five (5) years of job entry date. Licenses & Certifications Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required.
