About This Role The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department provides age-specific care for patients using the nursing process. Develop individualized patient goals and establish care priorities. Collaborate with physicians and health team members to implement care plans. Administer prescribed treatments and medications safely and accurately. Document patient care and outcomes effectively. Provide emotional support to patients and their families. Participate in discharge planning and coordinate referrals. Educate patients and families on care and medication interactions. Perform variance analysis for performance improvement. Act rapidly during emergency situations to manage patient care. Requirements Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred. Experience: Emergency Department experience highly preferred.
