What You’ll Do

The Branch Manager is responsible for the store’s performance, staffing, profitability, safety, and connection to the local community.

As the Branch Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring every guest leaves with a smile and every team member feels supported. You’ll lead by example, managing daily operations, fostering a positive team culture, and upholding Qamaria’s high standards.

Reporting Structure

Reports to: Branch Owner/Franchisee
Supervises: Assistant Manager, Shift Leads, Baristas, Cashiers, and Support Staff.

Here’s a closer look at your key responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities

1. Store Operations

• Oversee daily operations, including opening, closing, and shift transitions.
• Maintain consistency in recipes, beverage quality, and brand presentation.
• Manage service speed, line flow, and station readiness
• Resolve escalated guest concerns professionally.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.

2. Team Leadership and Development

• Assist Recruitment, onboarding, and train team members (with ownership approval).
• Create schedules that meet business needs while supporting team availability.
• Coach and develop employees on hospitality, recipes, and procedures.
• Conduct performance reviews and foster a culture of respect and accountability.

3. Guest Experience and Community Engagement

• Ensure every guest receives welcoming, attentive service.
• Monitor and address guest feedback to enhance satisfaction.
• Support local events, promotions, and community partnerships.

4. Financial and Inventory Management

• Work toward sales, labor, and cost targets.
• Oversee inventory counts, ordering, and product rotation to minimize waste.
• Maintain accurate cash handling, deposits, and POS reconciliation.

5. Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance

• Enforce food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and inspection readiness.
• Ensure staff adhere to grooming and professionalism standards.

6. Communication and Reporting

• Provide weekly updates to ownership on sales, staffing, and store performance.
• Communicate promotions and updates to the team effectively.
• Maintain accurate schedules and operational documentation.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a hands-on leader who can inspire a team and deliver excellence in a fast-paced environment. Here’s what makes the ideal candidate:

• Experience: At least 5 years of supervisory or management experience in a café, restaurant, hospitality, or retail setting.
• Leadership Skills: Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Business Acumen: Ability to manage staffing, inventory, cash handling, and overall performance.
• Passion: A love for coffee, quality, hospitality, and community engagement.
• Flexibility: Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Credentials: Ability to obtain and maintain required food safety certifications.

Decision Rights and Authority

• Leads store operations within approved policies and budgets.
• Manages scheduling, daily assignments, coaching, and operational adjustments.
• Oversees cash management and inventory execution.
• Recommends hiring, promotions, and formal disciplinary actions.

Final approval for hiring, termination, compensation changes, and expenditures outside the approved budget remains with the Branch Owner/Franchisee or designated Operations Leadership.
