About the Position

The Law Office of Paulette Hamilton, P.A. is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Associate Attorney to join our growing family law practice in downtown Orlando.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all phases of family law litigation

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and correspondence

• Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials

• Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively for clients

• Manage an active caseload while maintaining exceptional client communication

• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff

• Develop legal strategy with the Managing Attorney

• Maintain accurate timekeeping and billing practices

• Build strong relationships with clients while providing compassionate legal guidance

• Ensure compliance with all ethical and professional obligations

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar

• Family law experience strongly preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong courtroom presence

• Superior legal research and writing abilities

• Ability to independently manage a caseload

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills

• Client-centered mindset

• Professionalism and integrity

Preferred Qualifications

• Litigation experience

• Mediation experience

• Trial experience

• Experience with PracticePanther or other legal practice management software

• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
