Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position requiring telemetry, ventilator, and transplant experience across two specialized units.

Details

• Work spans two IMC units: an Acute Medical/Progressive Care unit and a Thoracic unit
• Patient population includes oncology, cardiac, and PCU/stepdown-level acuity
• Ventilator and transplant patient care is part of the regular caseload
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts
• Schedule runs Monday through Friday with every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage is required on a rotating basis

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Prior telemetry experience required, including oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/stepdown settings
• Ventilator management experience required
• Transplant patient care experience required

Additional Information

• A telemetry competency test must be passed prior to being cleared to start the assignment
• 13-week contract
