As a HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic you are responsible for fabricating, installing, and maintaining high-quality sheet metal ductwork and components and reliable performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. If you have 5 or more years of experience as a sheet metal mechanic apply now!Pay is $32 - $36 depending on experiencePer diem of $125/working day available for those who qualify.This position is a minimum of 50 hours per week.HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic Responsibilities:Lay out, fabricate, and install HVAC duct systems and sheet metal componentsRead and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and layout plansCut, shape, join, and assemble sheet metal using hand and power tools, ensuring precise fabrication and alignmentInstall commercial ductwork, including rectangular and spiral systems, along with hangers, supports, and accessoriesHang duct, set VAVs, RTUs, diffusers, registers, dampers, and flexible componentsSeal systems, ensure proper alignment, and meet quality standardsAccurately measure, cut, and assemble sheet metal materialsFollow OSHA safety standards, safety protocols, and maintain a clean, organized work areaHVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic Qualifications:5 or more years experience as sheet metal mechanicAbility to pass a drug screen (if required)Your own reliable transportation and valid Driver's LicenseYour own PPE and toolsOSHA 10 preferredStrong work ethic and ability to work independentlyBenefits:Weekly payReferral BonusPaid time off and holiday payMedical, dental, and vision insurance401k
