Position Details

Location: Front Royal, VA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $90,000-$120,000 per year
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Job Summary

An outpatient physical therapy office in Front Royal, VA is seeking a Director of Physical Therapy to lead clinical operations and patient care services. This role calls for a licensed Physical Therapist who can manage treatment quality, support staff, and keep daily clinic systems running smoothly.

The Director of Physical Therapy will work directly with patients while also overseeing the clinical team and helping maintain consistent standards across evaluations, treatment plans, documentation, and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Direct clinical services in an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Evaluate patients and build personalized treatment plans
• Provide treatment for pain, post-operative recovery, orthopedic concerns, and movement limitations
• Supervise clinical staff and assist with daily team coordination
• Monitor patient progress and support care plan updates
• Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
• Help maintain clinic workflow, patient communication, and provider coordination
• Support a respectful and organized care environment

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills
• Ability to lead with clear communication and practical direction
