Sunrise Manor Center for Nursing and Rehab is currently recruiting for an IN-HOUSE Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for their skilled nursing facility located in Bay Shore, NY . Ideal candidates will have experience working in a skilled nursing environment.
Sunrise Manor is an intimate 84-bed Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation , located at 1325 Brentwood Rd, Bayshore, NY 11706 .
1099 employer (preferred).

Responsibilities:
Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist to support patients with temporary or long-term disabilities
Assist in relieving pain, restoring or improving function, and promoting healing
Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care
Provide quality, personalized, and evidence-based care to patients with diverse needs
Support interventions that improve patients’ motion and mobility in a cost-effective manner
Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers as directed by the Physical Therapist
Monitor and report patient responses to treatment interventions
Complete required documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
