The Center at Tucson is looking to hire a Speech Therapist now!Shift Availability: Full time or PRN daysPay: Full time $45-55/hour, PRN $55/hour, dependent on experienceJob Description: The Speech Therapist (ST) assesses and evaluates patients who would benefit from skilled speech therapy services and develops an appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practices requirements.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Effectively screen/evaluate patients with possible communication, cognitive or swallowing disorders and develops appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standardsProvide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with communication, cognitive and/or swallowing disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirementsEvaluate treatment outcomes for effectivenessProvide comprehensive discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirementsWork closely with patients, family members and other care team members to adequately plan for patient needs, to include short term and long term goalsAbout UsThe Center at Tucson is a skilled nursing facility that serves patients needing physical rehabilitation and/or complex nursing care.
