As a Security Officer Patrol Emergency Preparedness in Fremont, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of business areas, offices, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain appropriate records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
