Critical Care Nurse Practitioner (PRN)

Local Team Collaboration We take pride in our well-established team at Texas Health Plano At Texas Health Plano, our strong collaborative team includes board-certified critical care physicians and acute care trained advanced practice providers Qualifications Board-certified acute care trained Nurse Practitioner with unrestricted license Prior ICU APP practice time – minimum of 3-years post training practice Active Texas license Ability to manage a high volume of complex cases, including critical interventions such as intubations, central lines, and arterial lines Authorized to work in the United States Scheduling PRN- No set monthly shift commitment, offering flexibility to schedule shifts as available and based on the program need Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality, comprehensive care to medical / surgical /cardiac / neuro ICU patients Demonstrate autonomous care within an ICU setting with support from a full complement of medical subspecialists; demonstrate ability to work autonomously and multitask within the critical care team Commit to excellence in the clinical service and demonstrate problem-solving abilities necessary to best serve our patients Must provide evidence of procedural competence with the following procedures: central lines, arterial lines, intubations and chest tubes EMR is Epic Living And Working In Plano Ranked the most affluent city in the nation and home to numerous top companies, Plano features dining, shopping, and outdoor activities.
