Senior Linux Administrator

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in a technical field plus 12+ years of systems administration experience, or an associates degree with 15 years of experience, or a high school diploma with 20 years of experience.
• We need demonstrated experience planning and leading systems engineering initiatives.
• We require strong troubleshooting skills in a Linux Red Hat environment.
• We need extensive hands-on experience with VMware.
• We require familiarity with modern automation and configuration tools such as Splunk or Ansible.
• We require an IAT Level I certification, with DoD 8140 compliance needed within 60 days of hire; acceptable certifications include A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, or equivalent.
• We require an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Preferred qualifications include full lifecycle Linux systems management, Red Hat Certified System Administrator certification, and experience with NetApp.
• We require the ability to remain stationary for about half the workday and occasionally move around the office to collaborate and use standard office technology.

• We configure, administer, and troubleshoot Linux operating systems.
• We install and load operating system software, maintain system integrity, configure network components, and implement OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
• We support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
• We manage IT infrastructure and related operational processes.
• We provide day-to-day support for client/server, storage, network, and mobile devices, including monitoring and issue resolution.
• We support dispatch systems and hardware issues through to resolution.
• We optimize system performance, resource utilization, and capacity planning.
• We analyze and resolve complex issues involving server hardware, applications, and software integration.
