Medication Technician – Baker Place Senior Living Per Diem / Part Time Baker Place Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Med-Tech to join our assisted living team on a part-time basis. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our residents by assisting with medication administration and supporting the care team in delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Administer medications to residents according to their prescribed schedules and document all medication-related activities accurately. Monitor and record residents' vital signs and report any changes in health status to the nursing staff. Assist with daily living activities and provide compassionate support to residents as needed. Communicate effectively with residents, their family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and quality care. Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding medication administration and healthcare practices. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update individualized care plans for residents. Participate in training and continuing education opportunities to keep current with medical best practices and technologies. Qualifications Certified Medication Technician (Med-Tech) required. Previous experience in an assisted living or similar healthcare setting preferred. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team. Compassionate and patient-focused, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
