Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Hardware Engineering Group is looking for a Principal FPGA Digital Design Engineer to support FPGA designs through all phases of development. The ideal candidate is expected to perform activities including assisting in design architecture, ownership of RTL coding, synthesis, place and route, timing closure, basic test bench development, lab testing, product support and FPGA security.Required Education, Experience, & SkillsCurrent Security Clearance (Secret), or eligible to obtain one6+ years of relevant experience with bachelor's degree (less with an advanced degree)Experience in FPGA or ASIC Design / Development, including:VHDL (preferred) or Verilog HDL codingFamiliarity with Xilinx Vivado or Intel/Altera QuartusExperience with internal logic analyzer (ILA/chipscope/signaltap)Digital simulation using Modelsim/QuestaExperience with static timing analysis and timing closureExperience with clock domain crossing techniquesExperience with high-speed interfaces like SERDES, PCIe, DDR2/3/4, LVDSFamiliarity with revision control (GIT, CVS, Clearcase, Subversion, etc.)Experience generating scripts (Perl, Tcl, Python, shell, etc.)Strong debug and problem-solving skillsLab testing supportStrong written and oral communication skillsSelf-starter and a good team playerAbility to mentor and willingness to be mentoredPay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
