Procurement Multi-Family Manager – Level K The Boeing Company’s Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) invites you to join our Space Launch Systems (SLS) Program in New Orleans, Louisiana. Position Responsibilities Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier‑related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements. Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools. Manages, develops and motivates employees. Boeing First‑Line Leader Assessment To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Work Environment This position is 100% onsite at one of the listed location options and requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility. It is for 1st shift and may require up to 25% travel. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temporary manager, large‑scale cross‑functional project/program manager, or formal manager). OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.” More than 5 years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer. More than 5 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance. More than 5 years of experience in constructing/building and providing reports and presentation material as needed for assigned projects or Leadership review. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Bachelor’s degree or higher. More than 5 years leading cross‑functional and/or project teams. More than 5 years of experience managing supplier performance. More than 3 years of experience with proposal support and development. More than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services. More than 5 years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations). Typical Education/Experience Typically 10 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: $114,750 – $141,750. Applications will be accepted through May 31, 2026.
