Benefits and Leave Administrator Benefits Administrator West Bend , Wisconsin Contract Sep 25, 2026 Location: West Bend, WI – Hybrid Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Compensation: $35–$40/hour target; flexibility based on experience Duration: Expected through the end of the year with potential extension Start: ASAP Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Benefits & Leave Administrator to provide temporary support to its Total Rewards function. This individual will assist with day-to-day benefits administration, employee leave programs, open enrollment activities, billing and reconciliations, and employee benefit education. With annual open enrollment approaching, the ideal candidate will have previous hands-on benefits experience and be comfortable answering employee questions, coordinating with vendors and HR partners, and managing multiple benefit and leave-related processes. Key Responsibilities Coordinate administration of FMLA, ADA accommodations, parental leave, and disability programs in partnership with a third-party administrator and local HR teams. Support upcoming annual open enrollment , including learning benefit offerings, responding to employee questions, and assisting with benefit education and communications. Reconcile monthly benefit invoices and assist with processing monthly accounts. Support administration related to garnishments and life-status changes . Review HRIS-to-vendor file integrations and perform audits when data does not transfer or reconcile properly. Assist employees with benefits-related questions and provide appropriate guidance.Conduct or support benefit orientation for new hires . Partner with HR, Total Rewards, employees, and outside benefit vendors to resolve benefit and leave-related issues. Maintain accurate and confidential employee and benefits information. Qualifications Previous hands-on employee benefits administration experience. Previous leave of absence administration , including familiarity with FMLA and related leave programs. Ability to communicate benefit information clearly to employees. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable working with benefit vendors, HR partners, and employees. Experience performing benefit billing, reconciliations, audits, or similar data validation preferred. Paylocity experience is a plus but not required. Work Arrangement This position follows a hybrid schedule from the West Bend office and allows up to two remote workdays per week . Mondays are important onsite days based on business needs, and Tuesdays are company-wide anchor days requiring onsite attendance. This is a temporary assignment currently anticipated to continue through the end of the year, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
