Assignment Overview Travel RN - Operating Room Location: Stillwater, Oklahoma Schedule: Days, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Oct 5, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Actual start date is typically 3-4 weeks from time the offer is received. Start dates are determined based on facility needs and credentialing requirements. Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a minimum of 2 years of circulating experience and an OK or compact RN license. Details Work in the Operating Room unit of a hospital setting Day shift schedule (5x8.5 hours, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM) with rotating late shifts until 7:00 PM 1-2 times per week On-call responsibilities are currently covered but may be required Requirements Active RN license (OK or compact) required Current certifications: BLS and ACLS Minimum 2 years of circulating OR experience required Meditech charting experience strongly preferred Skilled in general surgery procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, and thyroidectomy Skilled in thoracic procedures including lobe resection, lung resection, and thoracotomy Skilled in orthopedic procedures including arthroscopy, closed and open fracture reduction, laminectomy/discectomy, spinal fusion, and total joint replacement Skilled in urology procedures including cystoscopy, laparoscopic-assisted cases, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, and TURP Experience with cell saver equipment Knowledgeable in administration of blood and blood products, infection control, laser and radiation safety, specimen handling/labeling, Universal Protocol (time out) procedures, and wound management Two professional references required for consideration Additional Information Perform circulating RN duties across a variety of surgical specialties No RTO will be accepted for this assignment First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Pay Overview: $2,406/wk Assignment Total (13 Weeks): $31,278 Annual Equivalent (52 Weeks): $125,112 Weekly Breakdown Weekly Wages: $1,160/wk Regular Hours: $29.00 x 40 hours/wk = $1,160 Weekly Stipends: $1,246/wk Lodging: $110.00 x 7 days = $770 Meals & Incidentals: $68.00 x 7 days = $476 $2,406/wk In compliance with state pay transparency laws, we disclose that the estimated weekly pay range for this role is $2,165 - $2,406.
