Midway Staffing is currently seeking motivated and safety-conscious Forklift Drivers to support a variety of warehouse, distribution, and manufacturing operations throughout Lake County, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced forklift operators looking for long-term opportunities with reputable employers offering competitive pay and growth potential.

Location: Various client locations throughout Lake County, IL Schedule: Openings available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shifts (Overtime may be required as needed) Pay Rate: Starting at $18.00/hour and up, depending on experience

Duties:

• Safely operate forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, and electric pallet jack equipment as required.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials throughout warehouse and production areas.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and complete transactions.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report any safety concerns.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform additional warehouse and material handling duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Experience operating one or more of the following: sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, or electric pallet jack.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
• RF scanner experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required.
