Staff AccountantLocation: Uniontown, OhioEmployment: Full-Time and in-personHours of work: 9:00 am-6:00 pm, Monday -Friday; Longer hours may be expected during busy periodsWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Staff Accountant to support our finance operations. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with reporting and month-end processes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals and a high level of accuracy.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform Journal EntriesMonth end Account ReconciliationsSupport Complex month end and year end close environmentsProcess vendor invoices and bills in a timely and accurate mannerManage accounts payable, including tracking and payment processingCreate and send customer invoicesMaintain accurate financial records and organized document filing systemsPrepare financial reports for management and external accountant/CPAEnter transactions into accounting softwareEnter and manage information related to Premium Finance Company processesFollow up on cancelled policies from the Premium Finance CompanyPreferred Qualifications2–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience requiredProficient experience with QuickBooks requiredStrong spreadsheet (Excel) skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to handle confidential financial information with discretionSkills & AttributesStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and prioritize tasksExcellent communication skillsProblem-solving mindset and proactive approachBenefits IncludeHealth, dental and vision insurance from day oneCompany-funded health savings account (HSA)Life insurance, short and long-term disability insurance401(k) with employer matchPaid time off, including paid parental leaveAbout UsAviation Insurance Managers is a division of Seibert Keck.
