Express Employment Professionals is looking for an energetic, people-focused Employment Specialist to join our team in Princeton, New Jersey . Locally owned and serving the Princeton-area community since 2000 , our office connects local businesses with talented people while helping job seekers find opportunities where they can succeed. As part of the Express Employment Professionals network, we combine the personal approach of a locally owned business with the resources and training of an internationally recognized staffing organization. What You’ll Do As an Employment Specialist, you’ll manage both the recruiting and client-service sides of staffing . You’ll build relationships with candidates, understand the workforce needs of local businesses, and work to make successful employment matches. Key Responsibilities: Recruit, interview, evaluate, and place qualified candidates Build and maintain a strong pipeline of available talent Match candidates with positions based on skills, experience, availability, and client requirements Communicate regularly with associates regarding assignments, attendance, performance, and availability Develop strong relationships with existing clients and understand their staffing needs Take detailed job orders and coordinate timely candidate submissions Conduct follow-ups with clients and associates to ensure successful placements Participate in sales and business-development activities to identify new employment opportunities Maintain accurate candidate, client, and assignment information in internal systems Assist with onboarding and employment documentation Follow company procedures and applicable employment regulations What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people but is also comfortable with the fast pace, accountability, and problem-solving that come with staffing and recruiting . Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Previous recruiting, staffing, customer service, sales, administrative, or related experience preferred Strong phone and interpersonal communication skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Comfortable handling multiple priorities and changing needs throughout the day Ability to work toward goals and measurable performance expectations Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills Comfortable learning new recruiting and technology platforms Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Why Join Express?
