Your future role at a glance Location : Kyle, TX Facility : Ascension Seton Medical Center Hays Department / Specialty : Respiratory Care Schedule : Night shift | Full-time How you'll make an impact in this role Provide direct respiratory care to patients with respiratory insufficiencies, assessing needs and delivering safe, effective interventions. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized respiratory care plans, including advanced modalities and equipment management, while documenting patient responses. Evaluate treatment effectiveness, medication administration, and respiratory interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes and quality improvement. Educate patients and families on respiratory health, treatment plans, and available community support resources to promote ongoing care. Respond promptly as part of the emergency resuscitation team (code) to provide critical respiratory support during urgent situations. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Respiratory Care Practitioners Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Respiratory Care Practitioner provisional/temporary license will be accepted until license is issued. Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
