Schedule: Early Morning Start (4:00 AM)
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Pay: $16-18 per hour
Expected Hours: 20–40 hours per week
Location: 6400 Holly Ave NE, Suite E, Albuquerque, NM 87113

JOB SUMMARY

As a Baker , you'll help produce fresh breads, pastries, and baked goods TOUS les JOURS is known for while maintaining our high standards for quality, consistency, freshness, and presentation. You will work as part of our Back of House team to prepare and bake products according to established TOUS les JOURS recipes, production procedures, and quality standards.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including artisan breads, pastries, cakes, and sandwiches, following established TOUS les JOURS recipes and quality standards.

• Assist with cake and dessert decorating, including frosting, finishing, garnishing, and presentation, as needed.

• Package finished products carefully for presentation and sale, ensuring freshness and visual appeal.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery station in accordance with food-safety and sanitation requirements.

• Assist with bakery preparation tasks, including mixing, portioning, shaping, assembling, and preparing products for baking.

• Operate bakery and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, proofers, and decorating tools.

• Ensure finished products meet TOUS les JOURS standards for quality, freshness, consistency, and presentation.

• Work collaboratively with cake decorators, bakery leadership, and other team members to meet daily production needs.

• Assist with other bakery functions as needed based on staffing, seasonal demand, production volume, special orders, and operational needs.

• Assist with special orders and seasonal products as needed.
