Job Overview Assembler/Medical assembly/Operator at Intellectt INC. in Liberty, MO. Role: Operator I. Duration: 12 months. Pay rate: $16.50 per hour. Responsibilities Produce high quality medical devices, including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related assemblies within a manufacturing cell. Perform assembly, repair, and test operations under close supervision. Follow standard operating procedures and maintain accurate documentation of cell operations. Communicate effectively with manufacturing management, both written and oral. Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal and external customers. Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment during all operations. Participate in continuous improvement/quality initiatives to enhance production processes and meet quality and profitability metrics. Ensure accurate record‑keeping for traceability and quality issue resolution. Support divisional initiatives and cooperate with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements. Monitor and report individual and cell performance metrics in collaboration with the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager. Qualifications & Requirements Have prior manufacturing experience, preferably with medical devices. High‑school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions. Proficiency with electronic data‑collection systems and standard computer software. Strong prioritization skills, determining sequencing and timing of jobs. Manual dexterity: handle and maneuver small components and parts. Make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision. Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing practices. Safety & Appearance Adhere to the company’s dress code and safety procedures: Clothing must be non‑shedding, clean, and free of loose threads, tassels, glitter, sequins, or frayed hems. No loose or loose‑knit fabrics, sweaters, or fleece allowed around machinery or soldering/brazing torches. Wear a lab coat or gown covering the torso, upper arms, and thighs. Sleeves and neck must remain within the boundaries of the gown. Use appropriate footwear: closed‑toe shoes no higher than 2 inches in heel. No sandals, slippers, open‑toe or open‑heel shoes, or shoes exposing the toes. No jewelry, body piercings, or cosmetic items that may compromise safety. No artificial nail coatings, nail polish or acrylic. No offensive or scented personal products.
