Manager Non-Clinical Operations

$44.15 - $66.25 per hour

Department: 12700 Enterprise Corporate – Patient Access & Care Team: IL/WI Operations Job Type: Full Time (Remote; occasional on‑site meetings in IL/WI or NC/GA) Schedule: Flexible availability between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.; may require evening or weekend coverage on an ad‑hoc basis in a 24/7/365 contact center. Pay Range: $44.15 – $66.25 per hour. Major Responsibilities Plan, manage, and coordinate daily operational activities of a non‑clinical team to ensure exemplary customer service and safe, high‑quality patient care. Use analytical skills to monitor daily activities and analyze operations data. Recommend operational changes in response to productivity, acuity, and trends. Support the organization’s mission, vision, values and strategic goals by developing and implementing aligned processes with sustainment plans and outcome reporting. Collaborate with internal and external partners to assure patient safety and consumer satisfaction. Track, trend, resolve, and communicate patient/stakeholder concerns and safety events. Develop, revise, implement, and manage adherence to departmental policies and procedures in alignment with system policies, state and federal regulations, and scope of practice. Perform human‑resources responsibilities for team members (interviewing, hiring, promotions, performance improvement, coaching, corrective actions, separations). Lead team‑member engagement activities and outcomes. Manage operations and resources in a fiscally responsible manner within operational budgets. Assess impact of new business requests and recommend resource requirements. Assist in the development of annual operational and capital budgets. Collaborate to identify new lines of service or initiatives. Develop business plans, structure projects, perform detailed planning, and manage project execution for moderate to large‑sized initiatives. Ensure personal and supervised actions comply with ethical conduct, policies, regulations, and laws. Education and Experience Required Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience. 5 years of health‑care or contact‑center experience, with 3 years of supervisory experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent interpersonal, problem‑solving, and critical decision‑making skills. Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and database applications. Functional experience with electronic medical record and telephony systems preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences. Excellent analytical, organizational, prioritization, and critical decision‑making skills. High‑level autonomy and ability to work independently. Demonstrated leadership and project‑management skills. Excellent customer‑service skills and ability to manage difficult situations with leaders, physicians, consumers, and patients. Adaptability to rapid change and effective change‑management within a multi‑disciplinary team. Compensation and Benefits Base compensation within the listed pay range; premium pay for shift, on‑call and other duties.
