Production Control CoordinatorLocation: Lynchburg, VA, US Work Arrangement: Onsite Belvac's proven technology is utilized worldwide in the 2 piece aluminum beverage can industry. Supplying can makers with Cupping, Body making, Trimming, Decorating, Bottom Rim Coating, Necking, Shaping and inspection technology. Our machinery is utilized in the beverage, food, beauty, and aerosol industry worldwide. Belvac is dedicated to providing customers with the highest performing machinery for the lowest cost of operation. With over 300 employees across seven locations worldwide, Belvac is able to support customers in real time in over 150+ countries.General Function: Release and update internal shop orders. Provide lead times to internal customers. Track, monitor, and update shortages and communicate those with other departments.Primary Responsibilities:Release and update internal work ordersReview and react to expedite and de-expedite requirements for shop orders and raw material purchasesWork with Sourcing to outsource and insource as needed for capacity, and ensure decisions consider pricing and deliveryProcess Add/DeletesReview Change Orders, make determinations on actions needed and send out action item notificationsPromote continuous improvement methods relative to scheduling/planningUnderstand MRP logic, manufacturing capabilities and limitations, to determine how capacities and lead times are calculated in the business enterprise systemUnderstand capacity constraints by process/work center and assess capacity riskEnsure lead times are accurate and maintained in ERP systemMonitor and report shortagesReview planning parameters and make recommendations on updates and systematic changesMonitor Spares report and keep updatedEducation: High School Diploma required Bachelor of Science in Business or related field is preferredExperience: Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a Manufacturing environment Work Arrangement : Onsite Pay Range: $55,000 - $62,000 annually Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
