Your role will involve using technology and innovation to continuously improve and enhance the experiences of service users and colleagues. You will be part of a broader business support function, providing secretarial, clinical administrative, and organizational support. This includes ensuring the smooth operation of the office and supporting frontline clinical staff. You will be based at Dartford (Livingstone) Community Hospital with working hours from 08:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday. Key responsibilities include managing secretarial services, supporting frontline clinical staff, and maintaining high organizational standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in an administrative role within customer care, healthcare, or social care settings, will be highly motivated, efficient, and possess excellent communication skills. A full UK driving license and flexibility to travel across locations are required. Hours: 08:00 - 16:00 Monday - Friday Base: Dartford (Livingstone) Community Hospital, Dartford, Kent, DA1 1SA Main Responsibilities The position will be part of a wider business support function and has a key role in providing secretarial, clinical administrative and organisational support across the full range of office and service activities, including the smooth running of the office and secretarial/administrative support to a range of frontline clinical colleagues (please see attached Job Description). The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic and committed individual to join our Administration Team. A significant degree of diplomacy, tact, confidentiality and discretion will need to be displayed at all times. ability to maintain a high level of performance and able to prioritise workload to meet agreed deadlines. role will involve daily manual handling of clinical stock. to have a full UK driving licence and access to a car. to be prepared to travel across the Business Unit to meet the needs of the Service (Dartford, Gravesend, Sittingbourne and Sheppey). to be efficient and a highly motivated individual who will work flexibly within theteam and across the Business Unit. excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel. ability to record accurate minutes/notes and present to a high standard. to be office based within a Community Hospital/equivalent setting Monday to Friday. Qualifications Experience as an administrator within a customer care, healthcare, or social care setting. Excellent organisational skills, positive proactive approach, and ability to support colleagues and stakeholders. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed due to the nature of information handled. Ability to perform manual handling of clinical stock. A full UK driving licence and access to a car is required. Willingness to travel across multiple locations for service needs and to work from an office-based environment is essential. Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages such as Outlook, Word, and Excel is necessary. Ability to accurately record and present minutes/notes.
